Inside ‘Game of Thrones’ home complete with a tower that’s up for sale for £625k

A

Game of Thrones

-style property has hit the market with a real life tower that looks more like a TV set than a home.

The £625K four-bedroom home offers a 360-degree view from the rooftop terrace of the turret.

Known as Greenmount Tower, the lucky buyer can look over their very own 'kingdom' just like Jon Snow from his magical fortress.

Surrounded by beautiful woodland and natural views of Bury, Greater Manchester, the British tower once held water in case a fire broke out at the farm.

But unlike Winterfell, the Game of Thrones lookalike is now equipped with modern fixtures and fittings.

And the new owners will not have to worry about when winter is coming since it boasts its own central heating system.

The building was originally used as a warehouse and stables for Tottington Mill Printworks, keeping carthorses and goods.

It was built in 1840 by owner Joshua Knowles to disprove local rumours that the businessman was in financial difficulty.

The building has its own entertainment room and even a private bar (mediadrumimages/FineandCountry)

The historic tower spans five floors and looks over Greenmount’s Kirklees Trail nature reserve.

While Stark House is know for its outrageous parties, unforgiving climate and tragedy, Greenmount Tower in Bury offers much more comfortable living.

The property boasts two bathrooms, a study, an entertainment lounge, and a private bar perfect for hosting friends and family.

Game of Thrones super fans can also watch their favourite episodes from their very own private cinema room within the property.

They can even reenact the show's epic battles and live like the 'one true king of The North' in the property's sprawling grounds.

“Providing four bedroom accommodation, laid out over five floors and taking great advantage of the tower itself, the property offers good size living space with exceptional features that really make the most of its architecture,” reads the listing.

“With commanding views over surrounding fields and on to iconic local sites such as Peel Tower, as well as Manchester City Centre and beyond, this property certainly has an unparalleled outlook.

The kitchen is also modern and contemporary in design (mediadrumimages/FineandCountry)

“As well as comprehensive living accommodation in the property itself, there is also the use of parking and storage space, within a separate communal garage area.

“Accessed via a private, electric-gated courtyard, Tower Court offers a sense of grandeur, yet with modern fittings and presentation, also provides for contemporary living requirements.

"Forming the focal point of its courtyard setting, this property enjoys a gloriously prominent position and with its scale and eminence, offers uninterrupted panoramic views in the truest sense.

"Easily accessed via a well-made lane, the property enjoys a convenient, yet semi-rural feeling location."

The lounge is decorated in warm neutral tones with urban light fittings and a fireplace.

While the bedroom has plush grey carpets, wood panelled walls and lots of natural light spilling through the windows.
