Inside Emmerdale stars Jeff Hordley and Zoe Henry's quirky countryside cottage

Jeff Hordley and Zoe Henry's countryside cottage perfectly embodies the colourful couple.

During lockdown, celebrities were forced to share an inside glimpse into their homes via Zoom calls during the coronavirus lockdown and Emmerdale couple Jeff and Zoe were no exception.

Jeff, 50, who plays the lovable Cain Dingle in the iconic ITV soap met his other half Zoe when they attended college together.

They later married in 2003, just two years after Zoe bagged herself the role of Rhona in the soap.

The loved-up pair now share a gorgeous and quirky family home in the Yorkshire Dales with their children Violet, 14, and Stan, 10.

Jeff and Zoe recently shared a sneak peak into their countryside cottage during an appearance on ITV's This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

During the Zoom interview, fans couldn't keep their eyes off Jeff's aesthetically pleasing dining room, complete with a huge log burner stove and a large emerald green sofa.

The minimalist room features a stunning brick wall background and appears to be one the least colourful rooms in their gorgeous cottage.

The rest of the bright and airy home is full to the brim with large wall paintings and murals, and it also boasts a loud colour palette throughout.

The kitchen boasts playful tiles and a blue oven, with pattered wallpaper surrounding the main features in the cosy room.

Elsewhere, brightly coloured portraits of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I by artist Victoria Crossman sit proudly on the walls.

These are all surrounded by coloured fairy lights which add an extra pop of personality to the already brimming space.

Outside is where the real magic happens though, as Jeff and Zoe take pride and spend a huge amount of time cultivating their homegrown fruit and vegetables.

The soap stars have created their very own allotment where they grow everything from tomatoes to cauliflower and raspberries.

The Emmerdale star told the Sun’s Fabulous Magazine last year: "We have an allotment and it’s so therapeutic to have your hands in the earth.

"We’re mindful of what we eat, but watching our diet isn’t about being on TV, it’s more about general well-being, as Jeff has Crohn’s disease."

The quirky and colourful cottage is a perfect reflection of the bright and warm couple that Jeff and Zoe are.
