Inside Dublin street arrest as large garda drug operation clamps down on gangs

A man has been arrested after gardai nabbed drugs and cash in Dublin.

Gardai at Pearse St seized Alprazolam tablets and cannabis as part of their ongoing Operation Tara.

Hundreds of tablets and and about €300 in cash were nabbed.

According to Gardai, a man was arrested and taken to Kevin Street Garda station.

Posting about the incident on social media, a spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said: "Gardai at Pearse St in Dublin seized a quantity of Alprazolam tablets and cannabis herb as part of the ongoing Operation Tara.

"One male was arrested and taken to Kevin Street Garda Station."
