Dawn French recently decided to part ways with her gorgeous Cornish mansion after deciding the area was now "too trendy".
The Vicar of Dibley star had lived in the treasured Point Neptune House for 15 years before deciding to give it up as she didn't enjoy the "trendy" neighbourhood of Fowey anymore.
With the mansion going for a staggering multi-million pound sum, the 63-year-old has moved on from her harbourside home.
Over the years, the comedian would give her fans intimate peaks inside the place she called home with her daughter Billie and husband Mark Bignell.
The actress would take to Twitter with incredible shots from her delightful Cornish coast lifestyle, which would sometimes include her adorable pets.
The massive Point Neptune House sat overlooking the habour, with epic views that she could take full advantage of.
The Cornish sunshine was ideal as the home enjoyed a sprawling alfresco dining area.
With the massive home boasting three storeys, it was quite the grand building, but the "low profile" star had a relaxed feel throughout, with pets regularly lounging on furniture.
Although the charming property had been Dawn's home for 15 years, it was reported that she planned to leave the rural Fowey to set up home elsewhere as it had become too "cool and trendy".
The Mail on Sunday broke the news that she had sold the windswept mansion and moved on to a new Cornish residence, in a more lowkey area.
The desirable home is considered to be one of the most sought after homes in the area, but with it's clear visibility to hordes of tourists, it's no surprise that the private star wants to move somewhere more hidden.
A source said: "Yes, Dawn is selling up, but she’s very much staying in Cornwall. She just wanted a change.
"Dawn is low-profile and private. The fact that Fowey has recently become cool and trendy isn’t what she finds appealing per se.
"It can get very busy now during summer. Dawn will always love Fowey and had 15 wonderful years living there. She will miss all the locals who made her feel so welcome."
The source went on to say that the star "doesn’t see herself in that celebrity, flashy tribe" and that she is a "low-key resident". They went onto explain that it was out of character for her to have an "ostentatious home in the centre of town".
The sweet harbour down has been described as a "millionaires' playground" and has proven popular with London buyers.
Last year a vote was passed to ban new build properties being sold as second homes, as people from the outside the area were pricing out the locals.
