Inside Danny Miller’s wedding plans including Emmerdale usher and David Ginola

Danny Miller is set to wed his fiancée Steph Jones this summer, and the ceremony looks set to be one to remember.

The former Emmerdale star, who won last year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! will be tying the knot with his longtime love, and their little boy Albert will be breaking hearts as he plays the important role of pageboy on their big day.

Danny and Steph spoke about their plans for their exciting summer nuptials, and the 31-year-old confessed he was forced to hire a wedding planner after underestimating just how much there was to organise.

He told OK! he would be inviting his Emmerdale co-stars, and would “love as many of them to come as possible”, with one familiar face set to do the duties as an usher.

“Adam Thomas is one of my ushers – he’s one of my best friends. I have two best men and when I was making that decision I had in the back of my mind that Adam didn’t ask me to be his,” Danny laughed.

David Ginola, who struck up a sweet friendship with Danny during their stint in the Welsh castle on I’m A Celeb, will also be flying over from France for the big day, which he said was “amazing”.

Lucy Pargeter, Isobel Steele, Jeff Hordley and Dominic Brunt, are also on the guest list, as well as some of his former campmates, including Richard Madeley.

Danny said he’s “very excited” for their wedding, and is most looking forward to him, Steph and Albert having “the same name and be one family”.

The couple are having celebrations over a few days, so the adults can enjoy the festivities without the children, and they’re hiring a funfair to entertain the little ones so guests can let their hair down.

Danny and Steph originally planned to have their wedding in Greece, as they’re big fans of the film Mamma Mia! but the Covid pandemic put a stop to their dream.

“But it was tricky with restrictions, so we thought we could go to Greece for our honeymoon,” Steph explained.

The soon-to-be-newlyweds are also planning another addition to their family, and Danny said they’re “not ruling out” Steph being pregnant at their wedding.

“We’re not necessarily planning it, but what will be will be. If it happens before the wedding then there will just have to be some dress alterations!” he quipped.
