Inside creepy abandoned house where headless doll greets visitors

Urban explorers have stumbled upon a creepy, abandoned house in the Welsh mountains, a property that has been untouched for nearly 15 years following the deaths of its elderly owners.

Inside, Daniel Sims, from Huddersfield, and his friends, found several Royal Family mementos, including mugs celebrating the weddings of Charles and Diana, the Duke and Duchess of York and even Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips, from 1973.

They also discovered a large decapitated doll, wedding china left to rot, numerous televisions and wardrobes full of old suits.

As they went round the house, they even found an old newspaper from 1964, jars of homemade chutney and jams, bottles of home brew and a fridge full of food – it was as if the owners had done a runner in the middle of the night, but had to leave all their belongings behind, such was the amount of personal possessions still in situ.

Daniel shared his findings on social media, under the name Bearded Reality, where he has gained thousands of followers on YouTube and TikTok.

He revealed that the couple living there had left the home to their son but, despite many attempts, solicitors were unable to locate his whereabouts, leaving the house unclaimed.

The building has been left to decay ever since with everything left behind and there was even a paperback copy of a controversially-titled 1939 Agatha Christie book, which was eventually renamed ‘And Then There Were None’.

“I find this exploration quite sad because it was clearly a couple who had passed away,” Daniel told NeedToKnow.co.uk. “Having no one to claim and look after the place, and leaving everything behind can be quite shocking and leaves the place open to vandals and people up to no good.

“The atmosphere was a little spooky, there were so many crazy things left behind.

“All the clothing was still hung up and there were hordes of books and games.”

Travelling upstairs, Daniel found dilapidated bedrooms and clothes still in their original packaging.

He shared the eerie footage on TikTok, garnering 43,000 views with fellow abandoned space lovers flocking to comment.

Kathy said: “I will never understand why these homes are just left to rot with everything in them.”

Someone else added: “How do you know they abandoned the house and are not still in it, under the rubble, passed away…”

Another follower commented: “So sad to see someone’s home in ruins. Downstairs all the little collections of a disabled person.”
