Inside Corrie star Sally Dynevor's fun holiday with co-star Anthony Cotton in Ibiza

Coronation Street stars Sally Dynevor and Anthony Cotton have swapped the cobbles for the clubs as they enjoy a holiday on party island Ibiza.

The actress, who has played Sally Metcalfe on the hit ITV soap since 1986, has been enjoying some Spanish sun with her family over the last week.

Sally, 58, appeared to have the pleasure of being joined by her co-star Anthony on one of her evenings in the stunning holiday hot spot.

The mum-of-three took to her Instagram account on Friday to share a series of sunny snaps from her break with her 87,700 followers.

"Home from a wonderful trip away, with wonderful family and friends," the ITV star captioned the shots, add the hashtag #gratefulthankfulblessed

In one of the pictures, Sally can be seen posing pool side between two gentlemen, one of them being Coronation Street colleague Anthony, who plays Sean Tully on the show.

Her on-screen daughter Brooke Vincent left a series of love-heart emojis underneath the capsule holiday album, while former co-star Sacha Parkinson, who played Brooke's on-screen girlfriend Sian Powers also commented, writing: "Such a lovely familyyyy."

Fans remarked that the star's daughter looks just like her mother (Instagram)

Sally was enjoying some precious family time with children Harriet, 17 and Samuel, 24 as well husband Tim Dynevor, captured in the other snaps shared by the award-winning actress.

The couple's eldest daughter, 25-year-old Phoebe Dynevor missed out on the family fun, as she is busy with commitments to her hit Netflix show Bridgerton.

The filming of the second season the popular period drama has been hit with problems thanks to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Production on the latest series ground to halt last week after a cast or crew member tested positive for coronavirus.

The drama set in London follows the lavish lives of the Bridgerton family, and made Phoebe a household name when it dominated Netflix upon it's release in 2020.

The young actress is currently hitting the headlines for her personal life as well as her career, thanks to her budding romance with Hollywood star Pete Davidson.

The loved-up pair made things official earlier this month, with a public display of affection while attending a tennis match during Wimbledon at the start of July.

The Saturday Night Live cast member and the Bridgerton star are said to have been dating since the beginning of 2021, with those close them claiming things are pretty intense.

Pete is telling friends he's serious about her,” a source close to the star told People.

They also added that the two are “really into each other."
