Worry no longer - BBC Scotland have commissioned the hugely popular Inside Central Station for a third season in Spring 2021.
The series highlights passenger tales and revisits the familiar faces on the concourse and behind the scenes at one of Britain’s busiest train stations, Glasgow Central Station, as they battle to get the country back on track following the challenging events of the past year.
David Harron, Commissioning Editor Factual at BBC Scotland said: “Inside Central Station has been one of the most popular programmes on the BBC Scotland channel. The stories and characters from the station have really resonated with our audience and I’m delighted that we’re commissioning another series.”
Craig Hunter, Creative Director, Factual, at STV Studios said: “Central station is more than just a train station, for many it’s an essential lifeline to get the country back up and running - providing a much-needed service for people and businesses all over the central belt and beyond. This third series follows our favourite characters during the most challenging of times.”
