Shocking photographs capture a derelict "hell hole" holiday resort in Greece a British couple said resembles a war zone.
Mick Clarke and wife Jayney claim they are stuck in the village of Agios Gordios, Corfu, which they've said has no water, is strewn with rubbish and is making them ill.
Mick is a former soldier and says the resort reminds him of his time serving in war-torn Bosnia.
"Mick said this place resembles war torn Bosnia in 1994 when he served in the Bosnian conflict," Jayney, 50, told Devon Live today.
Jayney has a rare blood disorder she calls a "ticking timebomb."
"I live with a ticking timebomb and the stress of all this has flared my symptoms and I feel so ill.

"I had to give up my job as a PA last year because of my illness and so we've not got as much money as we used to have.
"When we saw this Facebook post about a £499 all inclusive holiday flying from Exeter our first thought was 'It's too good to be true' so we went into [a travel agency], and asked 'What's the catch - why is it so cheap?"
"We were told 'It's the first week of their summer season and they are trying to encourage people to come'", she added.
But the angry couple, who live near Exeter, Devon, say other holidaymakers are paying £200 each to fly home.
They've allegedly had no running water for three days in the ghost-town village.

"I want to get out of this place. It is making me ill," Jayney continued.
"I can put up with no hot water - I'm not the sort of person who moans about stuff.
"But when you leave the hotel it's not a resort - it's basically closed. All the locals are outside painting their shops and they say the holiday season doesn't start for another two weeks."
Streets are said to be full of overflowing bins, seaweed is allegedly rotting in the sea and access to the beach is understood to be via a tiny bridge made from an old wooden pallet.
"We are stuck in this hell hole and we can't get home. It’s been 26 hours since we first started asking for TUI for help," Jayney said.
"Other guests are paying £200 each to get a flight home today. That’s how bad this place is. Two girls from Cheshire arrived at the same time as us and they were so upset they paid for their own flights home.
"This holiday was supposed to help end a really bad time in our lives. I was really ill last year. The stress and upset of this has caused my symptoms to flare up today.
"What makes it worse is that the 24/7 helpline to a UK number actually puts you through to Portugal and India. No one can help. I want to go home. It's disgusting."
Mick, who used to be with the Armed Forces and is now a driver at the Lidl distribution centre, has attempted to contact TUI since arriving on Friday.
A TUI spokesperson said: "We’re sorry to hear about Mr and Mrs Clarke’s experience in Corfu. We are currently investigating their concerns and will be in contact with them very soon to resolve the matter."
