Inside 'best flat in Manchester' with secret key-coded James Bond office

Here's your chance to own a penthouse with a key-coded secret-agent lair dubbed one of the 'best flats in Manchester'.

This plush top floor flat has gone on the market with a 'James Bond-style secret office' and four bedrooms.

But you'll need to smash Casino Royale to get your hands on it, report Manchester Evening News.

The flat is priced at £2million, making it one of the most expensive properties currently on offer in the city centre.

But the stand-out feature of the property in the posh Spinningfields has to be the secret James Bond office.

Inside £20m Florida mansion that comes with a Star Trek-themed home cinema

A keypad-coded hidden door leads to the space, with wooden furniture and mahogany furnishings inside, perfect for any fans of the films plotting their next mission.

The current owner wishes to remain anonymous, but has described the apartment as "Probably the best in the city".

The luxury pad is located in the Leftbank Development - the only residential block in the Spinningfields area.

It is located on the 15th floor of the development and contains 4,000 sq ft of space, including a terrace and wrap-around balcony with spectacular views of the city.

Britain's billion pound property empire - and you fund it

The entrance of the apartment is located on the upper floor of the duplex, with double doors leading off to all the living rooms.

Underfloor heating, floor-to-ceiling windows and mobile controlled mood lighting help to create a relaxing atmosphere inside.

The master bedroom is decorated in muted grey tones, while there are also 'his-and-hers' dressing rooms - so there is no fighting over wardrobe space.

On the lower floor there are another two guest bedrooms with Juliette balconies and an additional bedroom.

The other bedroom has been transformed into a children's nursery with a lilac colour scheme.

The kitchen is decorated with Italian furniture and features a wine cooler, built-in coffee machine and a second serving kitchen to the back with additional equipment.

Leftbank is known to be popular with footballers and soap stars, with swanky restaurants and bars all in the vicinity, so the price tag for such an exclusive area is not so surprising.
