Inside BAFTAs afterparty - Celebs left in tears of laughter after boozy night out

The BAFTAs afterparty was a night filled with booze, tears and plenty of laughter.

Inevitably, all the celebs let their hair down for the booziest afterparty as they hit the tiles until the early hours, in London on Sunday evening.

A host of famous faces joined the star-studded bash to celebrate the 73rd British Academy Film Awards party - held at The Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair.

It appeared to be a night full of laughter and surprises, as celebs staggered into their transport home from the venue.

Renée Zellweger, 50, was in super high spirits after winning Best Actress for her performance as Judy Garland in Judy.

The stunning actress showed her excitement when she was seen leaving the afterparty, and couldn't take the smile off her face.

At one point during Renée's raucous journey home, her driver even appeared and was caught off-guard in a boozy paparazzi snap.

Renée is pictured next to another woman who is equally in fits of laughter after the actress' huge win.

She was overcome with emotion during the awards ceremony while she watched Jessie Buckley perform her song Glasgow (No Place Like Home), which appears on the soundtrack of Wild Rose.

While most of the famous faces in the crowd watched quietly, when the camera panned to Renée, she was crying.

She looked pretty in pink as she donned a silk dusky-rose gown which she paired with simple delicate jewellery.

Meanwhile, The Crown's Olivia Colman, 46, looked a little worse for wear as she slumped herself into the back of a car after having a wild time at the booze-filled bash.

Award-winning actress Olivia, who plays Queen Elizabeth II in the British TV series, had the giggles as she effortlessly fell back into her seat.

She held onto the headrest for support as she flashed a huge grin.

Olivia looked outstanding in her sheer black Alexander McQueen gown with chiffon sleeves and a flower embroidered bodice.
