Adam Thomas didn't let a nationwide lockdown affect his wife's 30th birthday.
The Emmerdale star, 31, took matters into his own hands to ensure his wife Caroline's special day is nothing short of spectacular.
The actor enlisted the help of his two children to perform a special rendition of Happy Birthday which saw him sat behind the piano while his kids sang to their mum.
Adam adorned the pair's whole garden with various balloons and festive decorations.
He even ordered a huge number 30 to stand in between the different-coloured balloons.
Adam revealed that the sweet birthday surprise reduced Caroline to tears.
Sharing a clip of the special moment, Adam can be seen playing the tune of the song, while his son and daughter sing Happy Birthday to Caroline.
Filming the clip, the birthday girl pans the camera all around their garden as she shows off the beautiful decorations her husband pulled off.
Adam even prepared a special breakfast for his family, which included a fruit salad, orange juice, toast and a selection of cheeses.
The family even took a dip in their paddling pool later on in the day as they took advantage of the stunning weather.
Adam shared the clip with his 865k Instagram followers, writing: "She cried...smashed it !! Haha happy birthday to my beautiful wife ... I was there on your 18th birthday and now your 30th...u may be getting older but your more beautiful now than ever before!
"Hope you have the best day because, if anyone deserves it it’s you !!"
And his effort was very much appreciated by Caroline, as she reported the clip, writing: "Literally couldn’t have asked for a better morning, thankyou so much for making my 30th wake up so special!
"Love you more then you will ever know @adamthomas21 We met just before my 18th and now we’re at my 30th nearly half my life Iv spent with you, here’s to the rest of it, together with our beautiful children lockdown birthday to remember forever."
