Inside abandoned home FULL of creepy dolls, dirty dishes, and even a 'sad face clown'

An abandoned home full of creepy dolls and their detached limbs has been uncovered by a curious urban explorer.

The time capsule home was found packed with homemade and collectible toys from across different eras, complete with plastic limbs, faces, and loose hair.

Professional urban explorer Dave, 48, known as Freaktography, visited the abandoned property in Toronto, Canada after receiving a tip from one of his Facebook followers.

What he found was old dolls “scattered all over the house in very unexpected places" - including a "vintage hobo clown doll sat next to an empty bottle of whisky".

The woman who had lived in the house amassed a collection of porcelain, plastic and fabric dolls - and appeared to make a large quantity of them herself, creating friends to add to her collection.

All over the house he found strewn dismembered doll parts, including faces, missing eyes, spare arms, and clumps of doll hair. One photo showed a pair of three dolls sat in a row, while another revealed the blank faces of two unfinished dolls looking out of a cupboard.

A pile of boxes meanwhile suggested the start of an unfinished effort to pack up in the kitchen, where boxes of mugs, plates and appliances covered the worktops and dirty dishes still remained in the sink, waiting to be washed.

Travelling upstairs to one of the bedrooms, Dave was taken by "complete surprise" when he shone a torch through the darkened doorway - only to be greeted by the sad clown face of a 'Weary Willie' doll.

Based on the very first sad hobo clown Emmett Leo Kelly of Howe’s Great London Circus, known as ‘Weary Willie’, the doll began to appear in the 1950s emulating the beloved comic.

Opposite the clown sits a tiny piano, the perfect size for Weary Willie to play a tune. It was left untouched, standing alone against the wall.

Recalling his experience of walking around the eerie home, he said: “The creepy doll house was a perfect case for following up on a lead as soon as you receive it.

"I had been sent this house two or three years ago by someone who follows me on social media but I never bothered,” said Dave.

“Earlier this year a friend of mine sent me photos and suggested I go see it. When I checked my map, sure enough, it was that house that I had never followed up on.

“The dolls made for a very interesting experience as they were scattered all over the house in very unexpected places.

“The best was the Weary Willie doll who greeted me as I entered an upstairs bedroom.

“My flashlight shone right on his sad clown face and took me by complete surprise!”

The living room also contained many old collectables, including Marvel comics and old starship models from the hit TV show Star Trek.

After Dave posted a video of his urban exploration session to his over 30,000 followers on TikTok and 22,000 on Instagram, his viewers had plenty to say about the unusual house.

One user commented “Damn the women just kept Annabelle out free like that?”, referring to the horror film series.

“I find dolls to be delightfully creepy. Clowns on the other hand…no, just no. Reminds me of Poltergeist so pretty much terrifying,” said another.

Another commenter also spoke of their fears, as they commented: “Yikes! A clown doll.”
