Inside a Knowsley Village landmark as it undergoes its transformation

Nestled in a sprawling estate of private grounds, a 200-year-old Knowsley landmark is still up for grabs - and these images offer a first look inside the property as it undergoes its transformation.

Millbrook Manor on Knowsley Lane sits on nearly an acre of private land and is a well-known property in Knowsley Village.

Previously a pub, it is still on the market with Reeds Rains, for an eye-watering price tag of £1.9m.

Despite being located within a conservation area, Millbrook Manor is not a listed building.

But a listing uploaded to RightMove says it has been "restored and refitted to become an exquisite forever family home" - and now you can take a look inside yourself.

Inside you can see white interior and wooden ceiling beams, with original fixtures of the manor house still being in place.

Spread over two storeys, the nine-bedroom property boasts a grand entrance hall, main hallway, lounge, utility room, study and solarium.

It also has its own games room and cinema room and five bedrooms upstairs, each with its own dressing room and en-suite bathroom.

There is approved planning permission for a private swimming pool complex, with its own gym and sauna.

Alongside images uploaded to RightMove, the estate agents say it is "reaching a key stage of its build".

The developer is also allowing the new owner to choose bespoke elements to the design of the home, including kitchen options and colour schemes.

With plenty of space to work with, Milbrook Manor also boasts a three-bedroom annex.

The annex has its own entrance hall, lounge, kitchen, three bedrooms, a dressing room, bathroom and en-suite shower room - and can be accessed from the main house or externally.

Equally impressive from the outside, the historic property also has grounds surrounding it, plus off-road parking and a double garage.
