'Insane' - Lincoln City fans rave over Nottingham Forest loan star Brennan Johnson

Brennan Johnson scored his first senior goal in English football as he helped Lincoln City maintain their terrific form with a 2-0 win over Plymouth at Sincil Bank.

After a goalless first-half, the Imps took the lead when ex-Forest ace Jorge Grant scored from the penalty spot.

And Johnson doubled the lead in the 72nd minute when he headed in Tom Hopper's cross which sealed a comfortable victory for Michael Appleton's side.

Forest's academy graduate is on loan at Sincil Bank for the rest of the season and Lincoln fans were quick to pay the attacking midfielder with plenty of praise.

We took to Twitter to see what they had to say.

Helen Taylor: "Brilliant."

Dennis: "This guy is insane, do not let Nottingham see what he is doing."

Ryan Willows: "Deserves that given his play tonight!"

Nezzy: "Deserves that, PLAYER."

Nathan: "BRENNNANNNNNNNN FOREST B TEAM LET'S GOOOO."

Max Eshelby: "Terrific performance from Brennan Johnson, definitely my MOTM."

Cornell: "What a wicked game of football tonight, Brennan Johnson and Jorge Grant were amazing to watch tonight."
