An inquest has opened into the death of a six month old baby girl.
At the pre-inquest review at Stockport Coroners Court, Coroner Chris Morris described Mabel Elsa Jones' death on July 10 as "tragic."

Mr Morris said that a postmortem had revealed her death to be unascertained pending further tests, so an inquest was appropriate.
He told the court Mabel, who was born on December 19, 2020, had collapsed and been taken to Stepping Hill Hospital, where she died.
Mr Morris requested information from Mabel's GP and health visitor and adjourned the inquest until February next year.
He said another review would be held at the Coroner's Court in January.
