An inquest has opened into the death of a woman who was found dead after making allegations to police.

Police coroner’s officer Julieann Hyde told the brief hearing: "On January 30, 2021, police attended Angeline's home in Wilbraham Road following a concern for welfare report, and found Angeline unresponsive.

"There was evidence of drug use found at the scene."

Paramedics pronounced Ms Phillips dead at the scene, Ms Hyde added.

A post-mortem examination gave Ms Phillips’ cause of death as ‘oxycodone and etizolam toxicity’.

Her death is not being treated as suspicious by police, the hearing was told.
