An inquest has opened into the death of a young man who was found hanged in woodland in Wigan.

The body of Oliver Wane, from Bolton, was found in an area off Scot Lane on July 16.

Coroner Alan Walsh has now opened an inquest into the 20-year-old's death at Bolton Coroner’s Court.

After hearing brief details about Mr Wane's death, he adjourned the inquest until August 27.
