Coroner to examine death of Clifton man found at his home

An inquest has opened into the death of a man found dead at his home in Clifton.

David Paul Tuckwood, who was born on September 17 in 1979, died on May 29 this year.

He passed away at the age of 41, a hearing at Nottingham Coroners' Court was told.

Opening an inquest on Wednesday afternoon (September 22), assistant coroner for Nottinghamshire, Laurinda Bower, said Mr Tuckwood died at his home address of Homewell Walk, which she described as being in the NG11 area of the city.

He was identified by his sister Michelle Campion.

A post-mortem examination was carried out and his provisional cause of death was given as 1a drug toxicity with a background of pulmonary emphysema.

Miss Bower expressed her sincere condolences to those who knew Mr Tuckwood.
