Viewers tuning into ITV's Innocent on Tuesday night were left convinced several characters were guilty, as secrets and lies came to light.
From false evidence to secret pasts, the latest episode threw all sorts of theories into the mix.
It appeared Karen may have been interested in partner Sam way before they got together, following his wife Sally's imprisonment.
She and her daughter Beth are clearly hiding something too, with fans believing they are somehow linked to the murder of Matty Taylor.
Matty was 16 when he was murdered five years ago, with his teacher Sally convicted of his murder.
She was only released five years later after new evidence appeared to confirm she was nowhere near the crime scene at the time of his death.
Sally was also accused of having an affair with her student Matty, but it was revealed the evidence from Anna Stamp that suggested this was the case was false.
Amidst it all, viewers also learned Matty's dad John was not his biological father - and now his mother is covering up the identity of the mystery man.
The key questions remained throughout the episode though - who killed Matty, and why?
It was revealed that Anna dated Matty briefly around a year before his death, but they soon drifted apart with him not interested in her.
She became obsessed with him though, spying on him, carving his name into her chest and storing items linked to him in a box.
When she saw him spending time with teacher Sally, she lied about what she saw out of jealousy after believing they were having an affair.
Now, viewers have questioned if the characters all somehow link to each other and what happened to Matty.
One theory questioned whether Karen wanted Sally out of the way so she could get to Sam, and maybe paid Anna to lie about what she saw.
Others wondered if Karen may be covering for her daughter Bethany, or perhaps it is the other way around.
One viewer tweeted: "Did Karen get Anna to stitch Sally up?"
Another said: "I reckon it's Karen's daughter and she's protecting her."
A third added: "I'm kind of wondering if she did or saw her mum do it."
Meanwhile a fourth viewer said about the Anna idea: "Like your thinking!"
Innocent airs Wednesday and Thursday at 9pm on ITV.
