Innocent shopper gets caught in middle of 'mummy war' thanks to two angry notes

It all went and recently kicked off during one mum's supermarket run.

Thanks to a misdirected note placed on a car windscreen, a spat over a parking space quickly escalated into a full-blown "mummy war" in Brisbane, Australia.

Grab the popcorn, we'll clue you in.

Having been shopping, one mum came back to her car to find the note, about which she explains: "I didn't write, nor was I the target, of the original note."

It seemed like the note had wound up on her car as a result of mistaken identity, with the author of the note convinced that the mum had fired the first shot and sent her a note - keeping up?

The original note

So, earlier that day a mum had come back to her car to find a furious message slapped do her windscreen.

It began with "please be more mindful" along with a smiley face, as a nice little passive aggressive touch.

It went on to say: "Thought I would right (sic) you a little note so maybe next time you park in a 'pram park' you may think twice.

The first note (Facebook)

"You pulled into the pram 'pram park' jut before me then proceeded to get out, WITHOUT CHILDREN and you have NO CHILD SEATS.

"I am a mother of 2 whom rely’s (sic) on those parks as I have a double pram and a child with special needs.

"You(r) inconsideration was appalling to other mothers and basic human decency."

The response

The lucky recipient of this note was having NONE of it.

And the response (Facebook)

In retaliation, she penned her own furious rebuttal: "If you wrote this note, you should know I DO have a car seat and I was picking up my grandchild, you self-righteous T**T," it read.

The mum caught up in the middle (who was mistaken for the sender of the first note) then posted the correspondences to Facebook , where she added how important it was to not make assumption about someone's needs.

Also, as one commenter put it: "Lucky your car wasn't keyed!"
