A Dublin homeless charity has announced that they will be doing a Croagh Patrick climb as part of a fundraiser towards their organisation.
The public, young and old, have been invited to climb the 764m steep mountain in Mayo in order to raise funds for the homeless.
The event will take place at Croagh Patrick at 11am on Sunday September 22 and is open to all ages and fitness levels.
As a non government funded charity ICHH is reliant on fundraising events and corporate charity partnerships to keep their 7 day a week outreach and advocacy front line service operational.
ICHH Head of Communications Brian McLoughlin said:“We are delighted to announce our #Hike4Homeless fundraising climb of Croagh Patrick in September.
"This is a great opportunity to bring our volunteers, charity partners and the general public together for a healthy day out while raising essential funds for ICHH in the process.
"We are so fortunate to have fantastic support from the public and our charity partners who are essential in keeping our services going. ICHH has had to evolve as the homeless crisis continues to escalate and we have expanded our services to include a 7 night a week outreach service, case management and advocacy support, raising awareness and providing food parcels to families using our partnership with FoodCloud and our European Fead grant.
