Inkheart by Cornelia Funke - review

This book is about a girl called Meggie whose mum mysteriously disappeared when she was three, whilst her dad Mo was reading a book called Inkheart. When a stranger turns up at the door secrets are revealed... lots of them. She overhears them talking about people with queer names like Capricorn and Basta. Who is this man and what does he want?

I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it for older readers who like fantasy and adventure! There is also two other books following on called Inkspell and Inkdeath which are amazing too.
