Injury Update: Warriors’ Chris Paul exits Tuesday vs. Kings with left leg soreness

While fighting to stay alive in the NBA’s first in-season tournament, a key member of the Golden State Warriors exited in the first half of Tuesday’s game against the Sacramento Kings with an injury.

Halfway through the second quarter against the Kings, Chris Paul exited the game and went back to the locker room. The Warriors announced Paul suffered from left leg soreness and was initially listed as to be decided to return to the game.

It was later announced Paul had been ruled out for the remainder of the game with lower left leg soreness.

Without Paul, the Warriors will have to lean on veteran reserve Corey Joseph along with Gary Payton II, Moses Moody and rookie Brandin Podziemski in the backcourt alongside Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.
