Injury Update: Terry McLaurin limited with hamstring; Case Keenum feels better

While the one player that many Washington Redskins fans were maybe okay with being injured returned to the field on Thursday, another player who Washington can’t afford to lose was added to the injury report.

Quarterback Case Keenum was spotted in a walking boot on Wednesday after practice, which led to speculation about his availability for Sunday’s game against the New York Giants. Though it is never good to lose your starting quarterback, many fans in Washington could see it as a positive sign that would possibly lead to seeing rookie QB Dwayne Haskins after Keenum turned the ball over five times last week.

On the other side of the coin, rookie wide receiver Terry McLaurin is said to have a hamstring issue, and he was limited in practice on Thursday.

McLaurin, who has been undoubtedly the biggest positive for Washington so far this season, would be a detrimental loss to the Redskins, even if for one game.

It is still early, but McLaurin’s health is something to keep an eye on as things go forward.
