Bolton Wanderers will have skipper Antoni Sarcevic available for this weekend's key League Two clash against Morecambe and are hopeful that Declan John will be back too, manager Ian Evatt has confirmed.
Skipper Sarcevic has been out since mid-March with a torn hamstring picked up in the victory over Port Vale.
The midfielder has been recovering well of late and Bolton boss Evatt suggested earlier this week that this weekend's clash against the Shrimps would be the game where Sarcevic would be able to return.
Left-back John was substituted before the hour of Tuesday evening's victory over Carlisle United after picking up a knee problem.
Wanderers travel to take on the Shrimps in a key clash in the promotion race, with Derek Adams side only a point behind Bolton in the table.
And Evatt has confirmed that Sarcevic will be involved in Saturday's game, and has also given an update on Swansea City loanee John.
The full-back has suffered a dead leg after picking up a thigh injury in the victory over the Cumbrians, but Bolton are hopeful that he will be okay for Saturday's clash.
He said: “Sarce is ready to go, no issues, he trained really well today so he’ll be involved on Saturday.
"Dec, it is just a bang, it was a clash of knees but where it’s hit him is actually his VMO, to be precise, so the thigh muscle that runs down the side of the knee, he’s banged that.
"It’s more of a dead leg and it’s a little bit swollen at the moment but we’re hopeful that he’ll be okay.”
In terms of other injury news, Evatt said there are some bumps, bruises and dead legs from the midweek win over Carlisle United with other players, and the Bolton boss is hopeful all his players will be ready to take on Morecambe.
He said: “Bumps and bruises. It was a physical game, more from them than us.
"But we’ve got a few dead legs, a few bangs but nothing muscular so we’ll see how they settle down, but I’m really hopeful that everyone will be okay.”
