Injury Update: Kevin Durant is officially out against Oklahoma City

The Golden State Warriors are in the midst of a crucial four-game road trip, and for the second consecutive game, they’ll be without All-Star forward Kevin Durant who is missing the game with an ankle injury.

Durant went down in what may be the most embarrassing loss of the season when they fell to the Phoenix Suns by four points despite having a 17-point lead in the game.

Durant has been out since turning his ankle in the game, but he is traveling with the team and is expected to be back in the lineup at some point during the road trip.

The Warriors have Sunday off before a back-to-back in San Antonio and Minnesota to end the road trip. While the team is vying for the top seed in the Western Conference, it might be smart to have Durant sit out of the San Antonio game so that Durant’s return doesn’t coincide on a B2B on the road.
