Injury Update: Jordan Reed not at practice; Jonathan Allen in individual drills

Nothing is official yet, but things don’t seem to be going too well for Redskins tight end Jordan Reed and his chances to play this week, as he is absent from practice for the second-straight day. Reed has been in the concussion protocol since Week 3 of the preseason and judging by his muddled history with the injury and his elongated stay away from the field this time around, the recovery doesn’t seem to be going great.

In slightly greener pastures, defensive lineman Jonathan Allen was seen back at practice on Friday, going through individual drills.

Allen missed the bulk of the last two games with a knee injury, and the defense has suffered greatly in his time away from the field. There was a rumor last week that Allen might suit up against the Dallas Cowboys, so things are looking like he should be good to go on Monday night.

We will have to see later when Jay Gruden gives out an injury report on the magnitude of all of this.
