Injury Update: Jordan Reed being evaluated for a concussion

Midway through the first half on Thursday, Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed caught a slant pass over the middle, turned upfield and took a hit from a Falcons defender. His helmet was knocked off, but he still bounced up and walked a few yards, signaling the first down.

Now it appears that he is being evaluated for a concussion.

The injury update from the team comes as a bit of a surprise because Reed continued to play for several snaps after taking the hit. Reed has had a muddled history with concussions and has missed several games in the past due to such an injury.

Redskins fans know this feeling all too well. Let’s hope that he ends up okay.
