Injury Report: Warriors’ Draymond Green late scratch (finger) vs. Raptors on Friday

Prior to the start of Friday’s contest against the Toronto Raptors, the Golden State Warriors made a last-minute change to their starting lineup.

With Steph Curry already sidelined due to tailbone soreness, Draymond Green was ruled a late scratch against the Raptors. The former Defensive Player of the Year was pulled from the lineup due to a sprain in his left finger.

Green is coming off one of his best offensive performances of the season on Thursday against the Miami Heat. The veteran forward tied a season-best 16 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor.

Without the former Defensive Player of the Year, Steve Kerr called on Juan Toscano-Anderson. The Oakland native has started 14 games during the 2020-21 campaign, averaging 7.9 points on 58.4% shooting from the field with 5.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.

With Curry and Green out, the Warriors starting lineup with feature Toscano-Anderson alongside Jordan Poole, James Wiseman, Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr.
