As the Washington Redskins made their way out to the field for the final day of training camp, wide receiver Trey Quinn was revealed to be missing practice again.
Quinn, who had had an impressive camp despite only catching one pass for eight yards in Thursday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, is said to have injured his thumb before the game, according to multiple reporters on the ground.
The Redskins play next on Thursday night against the Cincinnati Bengals. There may be a few more first-stringers getting reps in the game, but don’t be surprised if Quinn is not one of them. As of noon on Sunday, Washington successfully made it through training camp without suffering any major injuries to the squad. There’s still some time before the regular season starts, though, so there’s no reason to get lax with player safety now.
