For the third consecutive game, the Golden State Warriors will be without Steph Curry. During the end of the third quarter against the Houston Rockets, the seven-time All-Star took a fall near the sideline that caused a tailbone contusion.
Curry’s tailbone injury ruled him out for Golden State’s two-game road series against the Memphis Grizzlies and will now keep him sidelined against the Philadelphia 76ers at Chase Center on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, Steve Kerr told reporters Curry didn’t practice and is still dealing with soreness. While he won’t play against the Sixers, the Warriors are considering Curry day-to-day.

With Curry out on Tuesday, the two-time Most Valuable Player will get another two days off before Golden State’s tilt with the Sacramento Kings on Thursday in San Francisco.
Without the two-time Most Valuable Player, Jordan Poole has entered the starting lineup. The second-year guard has taken advantage of an increased role. In two games as a starter, Poole is averaging 25.5 points on 55.6% shooting from the field with 3.5 assists and three rebounds per contest.
To hang with the Eastern Conference-leading Sixers, the Warriors will need Poole to continue his impressive play. Behind Poole and Kelly Oubre Jr., Brad Wanamaker, Nico Mannion and Damion Lee will provide depth off the bench in the backcourt without Curry.
