Injury Report: Steph Curry misses practice with the flu, questionable vs. Clippers

Following his return to the court after missing four months with a broken hand, Stephen Curry is back on the injury report. The two-time Most Valuable Player was ruled out with the flu for the Golden State Warriors victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.

Curry has been diagnosed with “the seasonal flu,” according to the Warriors. Golden State confirmed Curry is not dealing with the coronavirus in a status update — “he has no specific risk factors for COVID-19.”

Curry missed practice on Sunday with the same flu. According to Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle, Curry is questionable for Tuesday against the Los Angeles Clippers. Golden State’s point guard will get another day to rest on Monday as the team has the day off.

Without their six-time All-Star against the Sixers, Damion Lee led the Warriors in scoring with 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting in 34 minutes. If Curry is ruled out against Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers, Lee will be paired with Jordan Poole and Mychal Mulder in the Golden State backcourt.
