Injury Report: Kelly Oubre Jr. (wrist) will play against the Clippers on Thursday

Prior to the All-Star break, the Golden State Warriors were without starting wing Kelly Oubre Jr., against the Portland Trail Blazers and Phoenix Suns.

Before the Warriors met Damian Lillard and the Trail Blazers, Oubre Jr. suffered a wrist injury while dunking during a scrimmage at practice. With Oubre Jr. in the starting lineup, the Warriors dropped both contests.

After the break, Oubre Jr. will make his return to the rotation against the Los Angeles Clippers. According to Steve Kerr, Oubre Jr. practiced on Wednesday in Southern California and will be cleared to play against the Clippers.

Via @anthonyVslater of The Athletic:

During the month of February, Oubre Jr. registered some of his best basketball as a member of the Golden State Warriors. In February, the Kansas product averaged 20.3 points on 50.2% shooting from the field with 6.4 rebounds and 1.6 assists.

To open the second half of the season on the right foot and end their three-game losing slide, the Warriors will need Oubre Jr. to return to form quickly against the Clippers on Thursday night.
