Injury Report: Kelly Oubre Jr. (wrist) listed as questionable vs. Boston Celtics on Saturday

As the Golden State Warriors have blitzed to a season-high four-game win streak, a key starter has been on the sideline. After suffering a brutal fall against the Washington Wizards, Kelly Oubre Jr. has missed four consecutive games with a wrist injury.

Prior to Golden State’s primetime tilt with the Boston Celtics, Oubre Jr. could be trending towards a return to the starting lineup. After working out in Boston on Friday, Oubre Jr, is listed as questionable against the Celtics.

Averaging 15.3 points on 43.9% shooting from the floor with 6.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists per contest, Oubre Jr. could add a boost back to Golden State’s starting lineup.

Without Oubre Jr., the Warriors have leaned on Kent Bazemore alongside Steph Curry in the starting backcourt. During Golden State’s four-game win streak, the veteran guard has averaged 10.8 points on 48.5% shooting from the floor with 4.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 28.1 minutes per game.

While Oubre Jr. has been sidelined, Jordan Poole has provided a spark off Golden State’s bench over the last four games. The second-year guard has tallied 14 or more points in each game of the win streak, averaging 14.0 points on 44.4% shooting from the field with 3.3 assists and 1.5 steals in 22.8 minutes.

Golden State will meet Boston on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. PT.
