Washington fans got the benefit of seeing Pro-Bowl right guard Brandon Scherff returning to the practice field on Wednesday for the first time since being removed from the injured reserve, but there was also the concerning news that rookie RB Antonio Gibson has been placed on the injury report with a toe injury.
We will learn a lot more about both Scherff and Gibson later on in the week, with their designations for the Week 6 game against the New York Giants coming on Friday. If Scherff is able to go, it will likely cause a shakeup in the offensive line for Washington, which could be a major positive.
