Injury news: WR Marqise Lee leaves game vs. Saints with a foot injury

The Jacksonville Jaguars currently are down 13-6 in the fourth quarter of their battle with the New Orleans Saints and may have to go the remainder of the game without one of their key veterans. Wide receiver Marqise Lee left the game late in the third quarter after a Saints defender landed on his foot during a Leonard Fournette carry. Lee was in the process of blocking for Fournette and was caught up in the traffic from behind.

Lee had to eventually be helped off the field by the trainers. In the process of being taken into the medical room, he wasn’t able to put any weight on his foot. Still, he was ruled questionable but one would imagine he may be out for the rest of the game when looking at the situation.

Lee wasn’t able to register any statistics before exiting the game. If he doesn’t return, Keelan Cole could be the player to fill his spot.
