Injury news: DJ Chark exits game for a concussion evaluation

The Jacksonville Jaguars got off to a fast start after Dede Westbrook and Nick Foles connected in the first quarter for a touchdown. However, as most games do, Week 3’s game against the Miami Dolphins has com with some injuries early.

In the second quarter, receiver DJ Chark had to be taken out of the game and evaluated for a concussion. He sustained it during a kickoff return in which Dolphins safety Chris Lammons made a forceful tackle on the second-year player. The ball came loose as a result and was scooped up by Miami and taken in for a touchdown. However, soon after, the officials ruled Chark down which eliminated the touchdown and gave the Jags possession of the ball.

The Jags have yet to officially rule Chark out, but from the looks of it, Chark should be done for the night. Hopefully, we’ll have an update on him after the half, and if so, we’ll be sure to post the latest.
