Todd Gurley may not be a team captain for the Los Angeles Rams this season, but he’s undoubtedly a leader in the locker room.
The two-time All-Pro running back is inactive against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, so he’ll be forced to watch from the sideline. He showed what kind of leader he is before the game, sharing photos on Instagram with words of encouragement for the Rams’ other running backs.
He posted this picture, saying he’s ready to support his teammates by any means necessary.
Gurley also shared photos to his Instagram story, pulling for Malcolm Brown, Darrell Henderson and John Kelly, who are filling in for him this week.
With all the criticism he’s received and questions he’s had to answer this season due to his knee injury and lessened impact on the offense, Gurley has taken it all in stride and remained positive.
