Injured Sagan to skip Olympics

Three-time World champion cyclist and seven-time winner of the Tour de France green jersey Peter Sagan of Slovakia will skip the Tokyo Olympic Games because of an injury.

The 31-year-old hurt his knee in a bunch sprint fall during stage three. He later underwent surgery in Monaco, according to a statement on Tuesday.
