Injured man arrested as police launch search for 'others involved' in incident

A man hunt has been launched after police were called to a suspected affray.

Officers attended Parnell Road, Clevedon, this evening (August 7) alongside an ambulance and air ambulance.

They arrested an injured man on suspicion of affray and he remains in custody.

Meanwhile, a search for others involved is under way, according to Avon and Somerset Constabulary.

A police spokesperson said: "At 5.30pm today we were called to a report of a disturbance on Parnell Road, Clevedon.

"A man who had sustained injuries has been arrested on suspicion of affray and is currently in police custody.

"Inquiries to locate the others involved in the incident are ongoing."
