A cyclist was rushed to hospital after a collision with a car.
The 58-year-old man suffered what police described as 'serious but not life-threatening' injuries.
The incident led to the closure of a busy junction on Friday morning, with buses diverted.
Emergency services were called to the junction of St Werburgh's Road and Wilbraham Road at around 9.20am.
ThE injured cyclist was later discharged from hospital.
Transport for Greater Manchester confirmed the junction was fully reopened at just after 2.30pm.

No other injuries were reported by Greater Manchester Police.
No arrests have been made, the force added.
In a statement, GMP said: "At around 9.20am, police responded to a report of a collision on St Werburgh's Road, Chorlton.
"Officers attended and established a bicycle and car had collided.
"A 58-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
"He has since been discharged from hospital.
"No arrests have been made."
