The New Orleans Saints remain on the West Coast this week as the team makes the trip to face the Seattle Seahawks. The Week 3 matchup will once again be nationally televised during the late slate of games on Sunday afternoon.
The Wednesday injury report that has been published by the Saints and Seahawks is the initial report for the week. A second, updated report will be released on Thursday. The final injury report with game status for each player will be released on Friday. Daily changes in practice participation are noted in bold text.
The Saints lost both Keith Kirkwood and Alex Anzalone this week to the injured reserve list. Sheldon Rankins continues his journey back from an Achilles tendon rupture, and his status will be worth noting as the week progresses. As it stands, despite Drew Brees undergoing hand surgery on Wednesday, Saints coach Sean Payton has said that Brees will not be placed on the injured reserve.
