Infrared hairdryer sold in Ireland urgently recalled as it could burst into flames

An urgent recall has been issued for a popular hairdryer sold in Ireland as it could burst into flames.

A batch of the Voduz Blow Out Infrared Hairdryer that were produced between 2019 and 2021 is being called back. The model number is JB3509A and the batch number is unmarked.

In the Republic of Ireland there are approximately 1,000 of the products sold according to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. Those effected should stop using the product and return it to Voduz for a replacement.

Voduz have set up an online form for customers to fill out to arrange collection of the product. The form can be found here: https://www.voduzhair.com/product-recall/. Or you can email Voduz on products@voduzhair.com.
