An influencer has been selected to lead a "charm offensive" and encourage other young people in her country to join the Mexican Army.
Sergeant Giovana Villegas - who has more than 60,000 followers on social media - has become the poster girl for a campaign organised by top brass.
The woman uses her Instagram and TikTok pages to show what she does as part of the military and encourage young recruits to come forward.
She recently urged her followers to enrol themselves in the Military Education System, writing: "This is your opportunity to be part of the Mexican Army and Air Force. All the best, future cadets!"

In another post, she mentioned the Air Force Specialist Troops Military School as "an excellent opportunity to continue your professional career in the Aeronautical field".
She exhorted her followers to "go see the live broadcast and learn more about this Military School".
Giovana also posted a video of her looking at the Mexican flag, with the caption: "Admiring our beautiful flag today, tomorrow and always."
A social media user wrote: "The best flag in the world next to a Mexican considered the most beautiful woman in the world."

In addition to her snaps in uniform, she has also shared her dance routines, selfies and sport activities.
The Mexican Armed Forces were last reported to have 277,150 personnel and 81,500 reserve personnel.
Their budget in 2021 was $11billion (£9.6billion), representing an estimated 0.6 per cent of GDP.
They are currently involved in the Mexican war on drugs.
Instagram user Alberto Rendon commented on one of Giovanna's recent posts: "If only the Mexican Army were as nice as they make it out to you."
Another wrote: "I will not join the military I will not join the military I will not join the military.
