Before 2010, Instagram didn't exist. Now, in 2021, the photo platform is home to some of the world's biggest stars.
For many of us, it's still a place to put up a photo of a nice meal, but for others, it has become their full-time job.
Blogger Jess Ann Kirby shared how she has decided to never show her daughter on Instagram again, after a very unsettling incident.
On her Instagram stories, she revealed that a stranger approached her babysitter at a park, pretending to be an old college friend.
After claiming she'd met mum Jess and her husband last week for drinks, she asked for the blogger's number, which the sitter refused to give out.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, Jess said: "I wasn't going to say anything about this on here and maybe I'm gonna regret it but I'm so p***** off right now that I don't care.
"Someone went up to my babysitter at the park when she was there with Marin. She made up a whole thing about how she was my college roommate.
"That she ran into Craig and I last week and had drinks, wanted to set up a play date with Marin and her son and wanted my phone number.
"First of all, all of it was a lie, I'm pretty sure she gave her a fake name and I'm just truly shook at how inappropriate and insane the whole scenario was.

"We live in a small town, everyone knows everyone. My sitter said she didn't recognise this person. There's just so many things wrong with the whole interaction.
"Obviously my sitter didn't give her my number, she told her to send a DM if she wants to contact me.
"But I've completely deleted Marin from my social media, I'll never post her on here again.
"Save me the DMs lecturing me about the fact I shouldn't have my kid on Instagram, I don't need to hear that right now.
"If you don't see what is so wildly wrong with that interaction, I don't know what to tell you but I hope for this person's sake I don't find out who it is."
She added in another post: "I can't say this without crying, so I'm just gonna write it.
"Today made me sad. It made me angry. It also felt like a wake-up call. Reading your heartfelt notes has been very emotional. This community is one that has another's back.
"I was a little naive. I still truly believe 99.99% of the people here have good intentions and I don't even know what this person's intentions were but it doesn't even matter because it was so wrong on so many levels.

"Raising my daughter in the same town I grew up in gives me nostalgia for that childhood I had and I want her to have that sweet innocence and fun and carefree upbringing I had.
"Today feels like it shattered that a bit. There was always a little part of me that didn't feel all in on having my social media and today I confirmed I need to lean on my intuition and trust my gut.
"It has been such a gift to receive so much love from all of you for her and just to get that support when I really needed it especially as a new mom.
"The reality is that I will do everything to protect my child and I never, ever want to put her or anyone caring for her in a vulnerable position.
"Appreciate all the supportive messages and notes. I still think this community is 100%."
She followed up by adding: "Also yes, my sitter is absolutely positively a LEGEND."
