Influencer confronts men she catches laughing at her while she poses in pool

A woman who caught two men laughing at her while she posed in a pool went viral after she recorded herself confronting them.

Florida resident Samantha Longton, who has 80,000 followers on TikTok where she posts travel videos, set up a tripod to take a photo in the pool.

In another video, Samantha said the pair walked past and spotted her posing for photos.

And one of the men said: "Look at her, this is what's wrong with girls," before they stood by the slide and started laughing.

She said she watched them shake their heads and decided to confront them by asking them to pose for a pic - at which point, the pair got very awkward, as they realised she had heard them.

Her video of the incident has been viewed nearly ten million times.

She asks: "Do you guys want a photo together? I can take one for you if you like."

After they suddenly stop, she continues: "Do you want one together?" to which they agree, before claiming they don't have their phones.

In the caption, Samantha wrote: "I'm not a confrontational girl but sometimes men just..."

She added: "Trying to take a cute pic at the pool and I hear two men audibly making fun of me so..."

The video went viral, and racked up more than 7,000 comments, with many praising Samantha.

One viewer wrote: 'This is the best way to say I heard you without being direct or confrontational, it's the best, sarcastic way of handling this kind of situation."

Another said: "They always get much less brave once confronted."

A third added: "Queen, the condescension in "next time" and everything, this is so good."

"I do this condescending, passive-aggressive voice too. It kills people."

"He totally had his phone, he just knew you would accidentally drop it in the pool while taking it," joked another.

One person added: "I think this is what my mum meant by 'kill them with kindness."
