Influencer chokes back tears as sweet Bali tattoo goes terribly wrong

An influencer says she's now "lost for words" after getting what should have been her dream tattoo during a trip to Bali.

TikTok user Tia could be seen fighting back sobs after unveiling her latest ink, tearfully explaining to her followers that she'd been "dreaming" of this particular design.

Unfortunately, she couldn't believe it when she saw the finished result, and realised that the tattoo artist had made a glaring error. Tia had been hoping for a sweet tat of the words 'Angel Energy', but was left bitterly disappointed.

To her great dismay, the tattooist got the two words back to front, leaving her with the unwanted description 'Energy Angel' inked across her arm.

In a video that's clocked up more than 129K and counting, Tia, who goes by the username @tiakabirr, wept: "So, I came to Bali to get a tattoo right, and I've been dreaming of getting this tattoo because I just don't get tattoos all the time. I get one like every few months.

"And it was supposed to say 'Angel Energy', and no it just says 'Energy Angel'."

Many of Tia's viewers had great sympathy for her blunder, trying their best to cheer her up in the midst of her despair, and sending her "positive vibes".

One encouraging person wrote: "Don't worry love, learn to laugh at it and the moment. It's just a chapter in your life, no biggie!"

Another agreed: "Just think, it could've been worse and at least you have a mint story to tell now!"

Others however just couldn't understand how she couldn't have noticed that the stencil was all wrong before the needle touched her skin, especially given that this wasn't her first tat.

A third person commented: "You didn't confirm the stencil with them before they started tattooing? That's on you girl."

A fourth deadpanned: "So you didn't see them doing that? Did you leave your arm and come back later? So many questions."
