Inflatable theme park in Livingston targeted in early morning ram-raid as CCTV captures suspect

An inflatable theme park in Livingston was targeted in an early-morning ram raid – with one of the suspects captured on CCTV.

Innoflate, at Houston Industrial Estate, was broken-into at around 1.30am on Monday, with two men stealing a quantity of cash and other items.

The venue was forced to open late yesterday, due to the incident.

Police say the shutters at the rear doors had been rammed by a vehicle, and they have since established that a 4x4 jeep-style vehicle was used.

The criminals then entered the property, helped themselves to cash and items, and then left with the vehicle seen heading towards Morrison Way, Knightsridge.

Innoflate shared a CCTV image of one of the culprits on social media, while posting: "We will be late opening to the public today, two lowlifes decided to let themselves in last night."

They added: "Anyone recognise?"

Detective constable Sam Plastow said: "The vehicle used in this crime made off at speed and is likely to have sustained damage to its rear having reversed into the shutter doors. I am appealing to anyone who may have any information, or is aware of a damaged vehicle as described, to please get in touch.

"I would also ask garages to be vigilant in case the vehicle is brought in for repair."

Anyone with information is urged to contact CID officers at Livingston Police Station on 101, quoting incident number 0157 of 13 January, 2020. Alternatively, get in touch with Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
