A plan to built a giant inflatable theme park in Bristol is set to go ahead after being given the green light by the city council.
Amusement park company Jumpin Fun, which has sites in Sussex, Salisbury and Derby, submitted a planning application last year to transform the empty business units in Fishponds.
The company now has permission to open one of its parks on the site, which is based at Oakwood Park, just off Lodge Causeway.
The move will create around 60 jobs, according to a planning statement prepared by consultant Andrew Beard.
Jumpin Fun's existing sites include a wide range of inflatable obstacles such as giant slides and climbing walls.
There are also large ball pits and rotating arms, which allow friends to challenge each other in a game of last-one-standing.
For younger children there are soft play areas, with mini ball pits and slides, but there are also adult-only sessions and time slots for people with special needs.
The planning statement said: "The permission for D2 use will create and deliver jobs and stimulate continued economic investment and use of the site providing leisure facilities and enhancing the overall vitality and viability of Fishponds town centre.
"The use can co-exist with adjoining neighbours and early morning use will not be full capacity, and the leisure uses can meet the existing permitted hours of operation, with minor amendments to allow Sunday leisure use and for early morning gym session."
All Jumpin Fun's current sites, which have have been temporarily closed during the Covid-19 outbreak, also have a cafe on site.
